knoll neocon® exhibit: concepts

Trends in the workplace like simultaneous presence, pervasive connectivity, office permeability and virtual extension were the basis for our concepts. Technologies (sensors, real-time image capture, smart objects) were considered that would facilitate personalization of the show experience and get people involved with the installation with minimal effort.
peeping Peepholes were intended to make "virtual proximity" part of the show landscape by generating micro-macro views. Strategically placed throughout the exhibit, smaller peepholes would give the viewer a macro view of the show. This would contrast with overhead projections which would display micro show details.
